When people are angry, they tend to say whatever that comes up in their mind, in whatever language they prefer, which is usually own mother tongue. sometimes (but usually most times...), it could be very disturbing since irritated people tend to use harsh words, yelling and screaming on top of their lung, displaying incomprehensible gestures and even leaning towards hostility.
Even though i myself can be very aggresive in words, i try my best not to sound too callous. so i adopt english as my first language when i'm at my boiling point. i found it very comfy to use the language to get on somebody not because i'm too arrogant to use my native language, but i feel that i can express my feelings more clearly and say whatever i want in more proper manner using words that don't hurt people too much (it's very fortunate that i don't practise bad words in my daily lives).
I sometimes think too whether that person understands me or not, but since i'm too caught up in delivering my anger in a subtle way, i ignore all that and care more on not hurting his/her feelings. i myself prefer not feeling bad after getting mad. so all in all, i personally think that when getting off at people, it is very appreciated to mind our "language" since words cut worse than a knife and leave permanent marks.
